The second day of the Collectors Showcase of America was the grand daddy superbowl version with some of the largest names in the DC sports landscape converging at one time. Getting to see the Washington Redskins QB’s of the decades from the 70′s to the RG3 was quite amazing. Sprinkle in some of the Baltimore Orioles greats like Cal Ripken Jr. and Brooks Robinson, and you get a sense why this event becomes a major staple for the sports collector. Here is who we interviewed in day 2:
He started his career with the Baltimore Orioles back in 1964 and was part of two World Series Championships (four all together). He discusses his championship years, the differences he sees in today’s game versus his time, who enjoyed playing with and a lot more.
